It all began in junior high. My best friend was a model and I loved taking photos so we turned everyday moments into our own little photo shoots. During high school, my interest in photography grew as I studied it, learning my way around Photoshop and how to set my exposure manually rather than shooting on auto settings. Before I left for college, I used money I had earned babysitting to purchase my first digital camera, which accompanied me through my college years and across Europe, capturing my wonder, the world's beauty, and some unforgettable experiences. These photos captured a story - my story - and I decided I wanted to help other's capture theirs too. After graduating, a dear friend asked me to photograph one of the most important days of her life and just like that, I had photographed my first wedding. That day, a spark of joy and purpose lit inside me and I decided I was going to be a photographer. I invested hundreds of hours learning the technicalities of my camera, lighting, how to run a business, and I launched my first website to share my work. I have since photographed hundreds of families, weddings, and brands, and my photos have been published online and in print. I am grateful for my wonderful clients who have helped my business flourish by referring me to their friends and family!
