CAbi: Product

[Los Angeles Product Photographer]

During my time at CAbi, I did lots of blog and social media photography as well as frequent shoots for our weekly publication that was sent to CAbi Stylists. I love fashion and lifestyle shoots, but I was delighted to find that I also really enjoy product photography! My product shots were featured in the two spreads shown below, which were articles in the Spring '15 CAbi Magazine!

Rob and Tara: Wedded

[Lake Arrowhead Destination Wedding Photographer, Lake Arrowhead Country Club Wedding]

Rob and Tara are an amazing pair. Together, they are an ambitious and creative powerhouse, directing and producing films for a living. They live in New York City, but wanted to get married in the rustic beauty that is Lake Arrowhead, which has a special place in their hearts. This was an extra special wedding for me and Matthew, because it was the first one that we did as a Photographer/Pastor team (no, we do not market ourselves like that...)! After hiring me as their wedding photographer, Tara and Rob found out that Matthew is a pastor and asked him to officiate their wedding since their pastor is in New York! This was pretty neat for everyone because Matthew grew up with Tara and their parents have remained close over the years. How special to get to team up to celebrate, document, AND officiate Rob and Tara's wedding!

Consider the Lilies: Product

[Los Angeles Product Photographer]

I really like people who create pretty things and bring beauty to the world. Abby is one of them! She is a water color artist who paints beautiful wedding invitation suites, quotes, cards, you name it, in her home studio. I had the pleasure of getting to photograph some of her lovely work and the process of creating it!

Max and Sumiko: Coupledom

[South Bay Engagement and Wedding Photographer, Photographer in Southern California, Palos Verdes Photographer]

I often like to set engagement shoots up like a date. In planning Max and Sumiko's engagement shoot, I asked them what they like to do together. They told me that they liked to watch Murder Mystery shows. I imagined them snuggled up in whimsical woods watching their favorite show on a computer... We scrapped the computer from the plan and were left with whimsical woods. It wasn't too shabby.

Jillian and Brendon: Wedded

[Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer, Orange County Wedding Photographer, Beach Wedding Photographer]

Jillian and Brendon are beach babes as well as one of the most gracious couples I have ever worked with. Their kindness to all they meet and adoration for one another are just a few of the precious attributes one can't help but notice in just minutes of meeting them. What a pleasure it was to capture their sweet love on their wedding day! To see their engagement photos, click here:

Jay and Heejin: Wedded

[Cabo San Lucas Destination Wedding Photographer, Cabo Destination Wedding, Capella Pedregal, Beach Destination Wedding Photographer]

Jay and Heejin don't settle. That's why they chose one another, as well as an epic location to seal the deal. We travelled to Cabo San Lucas for a multi-day celebration of their love at the one and only Capella Pedregal. Enjoy!

Jillian and Brendon: Coupledom

[Southern California Vintage Engagement Photography, Annette Funicello and Frankie Avolon inspired photo shoot, love shoot, beach engagement photos]

Jillian and Brendon love the beach. And they love the style of Annette Funicello and Frankie Avolon's timeless photos. So we put the two together and came up with this. Enjoy!

Garrett and Courtney: Wedded

[Southern California Wedding Photographer, Pasadena Wedding Photographer, Destination Wedding Photographer, Romantic Wedding Photography]

Garrett and Courtney are dear friends of Matthew and mine, and I was so honored that they chose me to capture their incredible day! They are the most playful and thoughtful individuals and their relationship is SO fun to watch.

Fight on!

Jr. League // Casino Angeleno 2014

The Jr. League of Los Angeles hosted their second annual Casino Angeleno fundraiser at the Peterson Automotive Museum. The evening was adorned with pearls, glitter, and gold, with guests dressed to the nines to show their support and enjoy a night out on the town.

Thanks to the generous volunteers and contributors who made this wonderful event happen, $117,000 was raised! All of the funds raised at Casino Angeleno will directly benefit JLLA’s projects that improve literacy, education, and self-esteem/empowerment in women and children in Los Angeles. JLLA’s local partners include: The Children’s Bureau, Children’s Institute, Inc., Daybreak, Heart of Los Angeles and The Mar Vista Family Center.

Here are a few of my favorites from this special night, and this is a link where you can view and download all of the photos from the event:

The Pathways L.A. 35th Anniversary Gala

[Los Angeles Event Photography]

What an honor it was to document the Pathways L.A. 35th anniversary of helping families in Los Angeles by providing high quality care and teaching to their children while parents work and go to school. This generous organization threw a breathtaking gala at the classic Millenium Biltmore, known for it's old fashioned glamour and epic beauty.
